I keep up on world events as well. There is a lot to unnerve people...I haven't had to hang up on someone, but I have had to avoid some people on Facebook.

Perhaps you - as a free woman - bloomed "before your time" and
led the way for today's women who are not afraid to be "unladylike" and speak their own mind - Greta Thunberg comes to mind. I'm sorry you had to hang up on a friend, but tomorrow's another day - fences can be mended. As the poet says, you are a child of the universe, you have every right to be here.
