This is a relatively 'old' medication that I have taken before and as I recall, it had the very same immediate effect that it is having now. I have decided to 'half' the dose and begin to build up a tolerance to it for a month. What I am expereincing is a known side effect of this med. Under the circumstance, I understand why it was prescribed, I just am not happy of why it was given.

I have quit taking medication that my doctor prescribed. Not becaue it wasn't helping - it may have in the long run - but my reaction to it was not endurable if I wanted (read needed) to keep working. I lasted two weeks before calling the doctor and telling him to find me a replacement if possible, and even if not, that I couldn't continue. Not all medication is for all folks!
