I worry that I will become the dependent one who requires such
devotion, and hate the thought of it. It's such an endurance contest we have to wonder how anyone manages it. So I'm praying for an improvement today, for your boys to feel better, for another pair of hands to help.

When I was spending so much time with my Dad was about the same time my grandchildren were all being born so I took up sewing and made baby quilts for all of them by hand. That had a real calming effect on my dad because all his childhood he had watched his mother piece quilts and he could associate with that.
