Oh my, if I had the energy and the wit that I had at age 62, I think I could do anything. Twenty years can make a big difference, and in my case has. I think I am on an unstopable downhill roll. 
Don't let your dad keep you from doing things you really want to do. You only get one chance at life.

The problem will be that things are changing so rapidly. Obviously anything that can be monopolized will be taken by big money. At your age I was talking about having a fleet of vans delivering pariffin .It sounds weird now ,well perhaps I was younger than you. I was offered a house for 5K it is now worth five hundred K. Sold building land 120 pounds a plot now fetch over 1000K. One can not really tell what will happen.
