I do agree, and I hope the little kitten can be taken to a better life. It will soon be harder to survive. I suppose you need a big net.

Humm...true no one owns the planet....it's for all to share. The cat is lucky to have reached you, surely it will trust your love & gradually you will be able to befriend the cat and find a home for it.

It is sad the cruelty that is a part of human race...I look forward to you telling us that you have been able to rescue the cat.

I think many of us would join you on that soapbox, Kabu. I cannot ABIDE cruelty to humans and/or animals, maybe animals especially, they are so without defense. I hope you can catch that kitty.

Kabu
Sometimes the Hunane Society here will come out and catch them. Kudus to Kabu for helping the poor kitty. You tried. And yes, I agree, we can all be better people.

Re: Re: Joe Love...
I still think of Joe often - he was amazing. I'm sorry Corbin for your loss - he brought a lot of joy and was gone too soon.

Sounds to me like you could use one of those humane traps that
look like a large wire box with a trap door on one end. You put the food inside, and when the animal takes the food, the door goes shut. Then you can take the animal safely wherever you need to take it. My son uses them to catch possums or raccoons who occasionally cause problems - he releases them in a rural area near the river where they're not close to the highway and too far away to return to his yard.

Good for you...Joe Love and I found kittens inside of a culvert. We couldn't get them to come out, so we went back to the house and got some milk. They slowly came out and when we hade them all, we took them to the kennel where we left our dogs when we were on the road taking Senior Citizens all over the country.
To this day she still has 2 of them in her cat section...And Joe Love has been dead for 8 years now.
Sh saw a 3 legged down in the middle of an intersection on a 4 lane road. He pulled the truck over, got out and stopped the traffic, carried the dog off the road. It had a tag with an address on it, he hopped back in the truck, went up the road, knocked on the door, and chewed that woman out for letting a 3 legged dog roam about.
So there's nothing wrong with taking care of helpless animals....good for you Kabu. If you listen real close you can hear him up there clapping for what you did!
