I love people but I am disgusted with our species.
** No this isn't a political speech.
**Jesus said to give unto Caesar that which is Caesars.
** This is about the way we treat an animal. There is a dear little light grey and white youngster in our back yard. A small cat or a kitten with what looks like one eye either destroyed or in a bad way.
It is not a wild cat but too cautious to let me get close. I don't have a cage to lure it into but I have fed it some of Mr Graysome's goodies.
My hope is that it will come to me so that I can pick it up and ring the cat rescue people to come and save it.
My guess is that someone didn't want it anymore or have gone on holiday and just put it outside. It won't last long here outside. Poor little thing, we have too many wild life for it to survive, cats don't belong in our outdoors environment.
It disgusts me that people leave a dear wee creature to make it's own way or not in a cruel world. Thrown out when no longer convenient for them.
I love my friends and family but I find as a 'species' we are no better than any other creatures on this beautiful blue planet. All animals are just as capable as what we are of being scared, hurt, starved, tortured...'different' does not mean less important. If we truly believe that we are the Custodians of our World, then I am ashamed. What an evil, greedy, selfish, thoughtless mess we are making of our position.

Not many birds around here either I think they must go near to the rivers or ponds. Don't overdo it,I feel done in today.

And not only that, the BlueJays eat them in the order that they buried them!

Pretty soon, the gnomes are going to be inside. The seasons pass quickly.

That’s a lot - hope you got a few minutes of down time to catch your breath, dear. And I didn’t know that about the blue jays. Glad you were able to post.

Between the jays and the squirrels, I imagine a lot of seeds
take root and become trees or other bloomin' things. Sounds like a nice day in Camelot North...
