I think it's time more men became professional nurses, and got a
look at the customary ways women in the job are treated - asked to stay overtime, often working 12-hour days, coming in on days off, etc. and the pay is not IMHO as high as it ought to be, considering the responsibility involved. If men were in it, I have a hunch there'd be some impovements made.Ā Loved the cross dressing casual day...Ā

Oh, my! What a wonderfully written post! Thank you. Good thing that you asserted yourself to get your deserved time off. Sometimes I think itās a power and ego problem that people āin chargeā have when approving vacations or not doing so, or worse, making one wait and sweat it out wondering.
Such a twist at the end, TAPS! And that is a surprise I didnāt see coming. Somehow, this post brightened my whole day. Thank you.Ā
