I appreciate your making a story that has all the realism that families have to go through....life's realities!

The topic is too sensitive for me personally, but I admire you for being able to write about it.

Re: I have deliberately avoided reading your cancer story,
Thank you. I know that there will be a lot of people that will not want to read this story due to its content. I knew a lot of ER nurses who couldn't or wouldn't do paramedic work. I knew a lot of CCU nurses that wouldn't work in the ER. We do what's right for us.
While I still read a lot, I find myself reading less and less all the time because I'm spending as much time as possible writing. When I post on here that I spend at least six hours a day writing, some people think I'm kidding. I don't watch much if any television during the day, so I spend my time writing and walking. I know that I should read more, but my drive to write is in hyper-drive so I am going to write.
I've begun to narrow down my projects in progress so that I am finishing more stories instead of having ten to fifteen stories in progress. I'm not sure if I am gaining anything, but it puts more stories online to sell. As my Dad told me a long time ago, you can't sell any corn if you didn't plant any.
Thanks for stopping in!

I have deliberately avoided reading your cancer story,
but I can relate to what you wrote about working with your father's last wishes, and the end of life trauma that none of us ever learn about except the hard way. My younger daughter and I have a deal about pulling the plug in that situation, and it gives me a great deal of comfort to think of being taken care of in that way if the time comes when it's necessary.
