It is never ending job watering gardens.

It seems not many years ago we used to look forward to a sunny day.I suppose when The Romans were here they grew grapes.

I think as you suggest your plants are so used to the wet

that they do not make deeper roots.

It's been hot and muggy where I'm at. We've been getting storms every day, but they're not offering anything in relief...It sounds like it's going to be a great wedding for Trish's daughter.

Your garden looked beautiful always.... lovely flowers, painted stones(rocks) and interesting gnomes.Well climate change is a reality now it seems, no longer a fear for the future....the monsoons arrived late in India and the rainfall is less than expected.

Wishing Trish's daughter a wonderful life ahead.

Here too with a little rain. Warmth's nice, leading up to a wedding love.

I hope the bride and groom (eventually) enjoy a long and happy married life. As for your heat wave and lack of rain - must be part of the big heat that's hovering over Alaska. I hear Anchorage reached 90 degrees yesterday, an all time record high. Must be miserable with the daylight lasting 22 or 23 hours a day up there now, and no air conditioning.
