Maybe you should wear vinyl gloves. Latex can make one break out or irritate if you have a tendency for allergies. Yep, money is very dirty. Glad you wear the gloves.

One thing we now have a kind of plastic note for 5 plus pounds they do seem to be cleaner. Coins are the pits, I sometime throw away ones with well lets be generous,
mold ingrained in them. Although it was always tradition to put silver threepenny coins in the Christmas pudding. I should not think many thought to boil them beforehand.

At one time I worked at the City Clerk's office, and at the time our town
had parking meters. Even though we had automatic coin sorters, the hands got filthy from handling them. Wise idea to use hand sanitizer & wear gloves.
