It is always the same, sometimes folk make it worse by not turning up for appointments.
Some messing around just to get attention. 5 weeks wait to see ones own doctor most say they want to retire in 5 years time.

The money situation often does wreak havoc with things. It's a shame when that happens.

I believe the story is the same worldwide, except probably Japan, they are so unbelievable when it comes to providing service ... be it any kind.

The amazing thing is it's not an isolated incident. I don't care what hospital you go into...they are all below par.

I'm afraid that's why I retired at 67--there never was enough staff and trying to keep up without, working long hours, being called in on day off, etc. was making my BP sky high.

Same situation here - trying to save a buck at the expense of the
nurses, aides, etc. It isn't as if any of them got into this line of work for the high pay or the glamor, but it wouldn't hurt to treat 'em with proper respect.
