Maybe it would be timely to speak with a counselor regarding those feelings. Sometimes it takes someone on the outside to see what one is too close to see and sort alone. The last thing you need is to be battling feelings that don't actually make much sense.

I'm guessing Wiley will resist the idea of giving way to the chair - he's
been up and in charge for so much of his life. But it might make it easier for his mobility. I hope your guilt about taking care of yourself fades quickly - it's absolutely necessary to keep yourself up.
