Boy, between the ceiling leak and the quarters, you've been busy! Seriously, I also have/had relatives who provided lots of entertainment, just like Dad must do. I got a kick out of that. Thank you.

I once knew a woman ,she showed me her bedroom. Their were four bowls on the bed all half full. That's terrible I said. 'Yes she agreed ,'and I pay rent four and sixpence a week. Not quite a dollar because once it was worth five shillings over here.

I was enjoying this post immensely right up until the ceiling sprung
a leak, and then it got worrisome. Hope you were able to sleep dry.
