Why pick up the phone when you are busy? I remember my mother telling people politely that she was sorry but she couldn't talk right now.

I should have taken a photo of it, but it was too cold to stand outside any longer than humanly necessary. I had completely cleaned off all the snow from my car yesterday afternoon and again just before dark. This morning, I stuck my hand into the snow on the roof of my car, and it came up well beyond my wrist bones. Using the handy dandy ruler I keep in my office, it measures out to be about eleven inches of snow of the roof of the car... and it continues to snow!
