This started after the City made diapers free for those living in Public Housing...
It’s raining Crap down on Essex Street. Quite literally.
At least residents of the Seward Park Extension housing complex are tossing dirty diapers out the window. And on a regular basis.
Apparently, this trend has been ongoing for
at least the last year. However, chances are it won’t last once Essex Crossing debuts its newest tower across the street, with the Essex Street Market, Regal Theater, and Market Line in tow.
“Maybe they don’t like the gentrification and are rebelling against,” our tipster wrote us. “Or maybe they are just assholes who are mad at the world and like to throw crap out the window.”
"It's disgusting," resident Robin Stucker said, to which fellow resident Shawn Stucker adds: "Sometimes the diapers come down and almost hit you."

It's because they have no self-esteem, and taking out the trash keeps them from sitting their behinds on the couch and watching their television......
