Mr. Graysome's attitude towards Father K is much like our family cat MoMo. With most people she's quite the lady. With others not so much. Like Mr. Graysome she will sit on a distant chair and just stare.
I feel cats can sense things about people, that us Humans just can't see.
Then again, Cats are Cats.

I've wondered if Mr. Graysome's the affectionate type that will come and sit on the laps of visitors or check them out to indicate a hello. LOL. My landlady Mrs. Sun leaves for Australia maybe tomorrow for a vacation.

I really don't understand the psyche of cats, even though I had
the companionship of the lovely Miss Kitty for 19 years. She was never 100% predictable, and continued to surprise me for her entire life. This is not necessarily a bad thing.

You and Mr G were engaged in a battle of wits, while the priest and Wiley were totally oblivious to the conflict. Good thing you were closely watching the mischievous cat, or things could have gotten worse.

I wonder if your visitor has a cat, or he could have been sitting in a chair of someone whose cat always sat there. I could think of many things but I know you are a rather delicate lady.
