Well in this day and age......you get an activist lawyer and claim the shoe store is doing something to a handicapped person....Parade out front with a sign......pressure that's what it takes!

He'll be lucky. Some shops near here used to only display one shoe as they thought it would not be worth stealing. Enter Ms. X; she just took one and waited for a match.
