Small business can be a fascinating topic. Years ago when I worked for the government civil service, it was the office of quality control for government contracts of small business. I found it very interesting.

If I were ever to open a store, it would be a used bookstore with a
coffee shop - probably not a Starbuck's franchise - with cozy chairs and conversation groups set up for folks who want to talk about books or writing. Maybe even have a kind of conference room for National Novel Writing Month writers to group write, complete with Wi-Fi. That's the kind of place I'd like to go from time to time.

It is all a repetition of former years big stores destroyed small one and now big stores are being put under pressure. Strangely enough milk men are finding sales increase as folk become worried about plastic and are going back to glass bottles. Most milkmen now deliver through the night, what they have not seen is a really bad winter for years. If one experiences one of those watch out for the milk rising out of the bottles.
