I do like pheasant. Coyotes are just a block or so away and wander close to the back yard in packs of three sometimes. It's residential and young mothers with kids in strollers are small dogs go for walks.

We hear coyotes off in the distance out here, but never too close. Too many huge dogs in this area, maybe. Deer we meet on the road all the time, but very rarely do I see one in my yard- again because of the dogs.

About 2 times a week I have deer in my year and fields....Coyotes are bad here, too. Packs up to 15 or so...and they would just jump over my 5-foot chain link year fence. In the winter I would go out with my dogs and carry one of my AR 15's. The are cross-breeding with large dogs, German Shepherds, Labs, ect...and are getting quite large....when I walk the country lane, I carry at least a 45 caliber auto pistol.

Kentucky is playing Georgia for the SEC East Championship...first time for Ky since Bear Bryant was at KY in the early 50's.
