- Go to Halloween in the rain and fog...
It is dying out here, kids don't need a bag of sweets that's small fry beside tapping on those little beasties.

It does stink when there's rain on Halloween. I remember how stinky it was back in 1994, when we had a Halloween rained out. No fun.

No children in costumes here this evening, no one knocked on my door. The parking lots have been practically empty of cars. They must take the children somewhere else to trick or treat.

Awwh! He's a cutie. Yes, they go to organized events now so much more than just door-to-door.

Even though my house is only 2 blocks off the main drag, haven't had
trick or treaters here for at least 4 or 5 years - all the kids on the block have grown up and started their own lives - which can be both a trick and a treat. Our town usually has a big Halloween parade but haven't seen anything about it in the paper.
