it's always nice to look back at what it took for us to get to the fruits of our labor...Before we know it, there's not going to be too many days where it is nice outside.

It is a nice photo, I'll make a confession when you first posted it I brought it back to the Wizards Den . Chumpet asked me what I was doing and I said. Making an enchanting garden. Can't you see the witch coming to life and some creature is peeping out of a doorway, I mean those two little creatures hiding in the yellow flowers. 'Yes' Chumpet said. 'Are you going to bring it to life?'  'No, I whispered we won't tell anyone.' Not even

Grandma Helen.' No Chumpet she is too young to join the Coven. Sadly I am too old I can only look through the looking glass.

That is a great photo.  Love it.
Ribcage was sitting out on the porch today and a very large bird perched for a moment on the tree in front of him and squawked at him.  By the time he let me know it was gone.  He wanted me to tell him what it was.  From his description, it sounded like some kind of bird of prey which we don't see around here hardly at all.

Gosh, that's a lovely picture. Ethereal in mood. I do hope you don't overdo with hoses and such. Do get the boy next door to help. You need your strength for other things.

For the past couple months, Calvin the Crow has come to me around the area. He's been at my feet, showing love. On Sunday, he flew to the area where i was posting at the branch library. After shopping for groceries, he showed me his new flock on the way to Dunkin Donuts love.

It looks so inviting. I imagine most of the butterflies are heading

south to Mexico by now - the Monarch migration often follows the Mississippi River valley south, but I haven't been up to my favorite place along the river this fall - it's a place called Pere Marquette park after the French explorer who first took an expedition up the river from the Gulf about 200 years ago.
