'Well better to put it down to experience. Fortunately they were not violent. I would get the roof fixed by a firm that someone can recommend. Sometimes these folk do more damage to property at the time and then carry on with dubious repairs. Poor Wiley I hope he feels better .

That's a situation both of you don't need right now. Hopefully, you two will be able to get justice against those phony contractors...Sadly, there are a lot of those contractor types around.

Those itinerant scam artists just tick me off! They must know now
there's no more cash in the house, so they won't be back. No doubt gone on to find another target. I hope you can find a real handyman to finish the job to your satisfaction.

Presta and Corbin, thank you, thank you. I have the house closed up and the ADT device on. The police expected to find these guys and to warn them with a sentence if they come back. I have to believe we are safe.

This is just sickening to hear - the way those folks were, and then to cause both of such trauma and trouble. Poor you and poor Wiley. Andvthey got your money on top of that? Rrrhhh! The angrier my mother got, the more quietly controlled she would become. I know what you mean there. Hoping there is restitution and quiet rest for you both tonight. So sorry to hear this, dear Kabu.

Oh my gosh......did the police give you any encouragement? You had the License Plate #. You can't trust anybody unless you know them, and it's getting worse all the time.
