Having just survived my second bout of pancreatic cancer, I am with you , 100%. I was (and still am) a part of a test group that received a new drug. The first test was back in 2013, and I see that that medicine is almost to market. You might have seen that graphic on some television ads where the WBC's (white blood cells) are attacking and killing a cancer cell. That engineering was part of the clinical testing I was in back then and again this last summer.
I remember taking an Anatomy and Physiology in college back in the late 1970's and the concept of 'reading' DNA was just becoming a reality. Now they are working to cause DNA to do the bidding of the scientist. Yes, there is a dark side to that information, but I believe that it will be the thing that will make one of the most dreaded words in the human language... CANCER... no more feared than the 'common cold.' It's not that far away.

And pray that someday soon God will provide someone with the cure to end the scourge.....
