Well you would know Kabu, history is not very accurate at the best of times.
There was an intersting point though, young children had a better chance of recovery due to the fact that the had not developed antibodies to such a degree as the older folk.
Of course a virus makes a mistake if it kills as it can no longer infect and multiply. Actually I did think odd that one country could remain free of the virus
and as you point out soldiers were quite badly afflicted so they could have easily been another source of infection. Now is it true that Ostriches come from Dinosaurs?.

This settles it. I'm going up to Walgreens tomorrow morning
for my flu shot! I do hope we never in this world see another epidemic like that one.

I don't have any doubts that the horrid flu hit Australia. Your poor Auntie. I had an auntie who died during that time period. It was brutal. As soon as I'm well enough I will get a flu shot. Did you get yours?
