My dad, after he retired, used to toss an imaginary rod and reel it in in his sleep. It was so cute. He always had a smile on his face while he was doing it.

We kids used to laugh at our dog when he'd dream he was running
and his legs would start going. I'm sure you have too much character to snicker about your dad's motions. I hope in his dream he struck out the batter...
