Judge Judy often says you have to have a great memory if you're
going to be a good liar. Apparently "Seth" did not manage to keep his story straight. Your dad was more than fair, and was wise to stop letting the guy take unfair advantage of the situation.

I hope Seth learned a lesson from all of that, but probably not. He probably blames his problems on someone else. It is no fun to have employees that can't be counted on.
