A little act of kindness makes news as you say. In the olden days it was probably the done thing.I am like you having to water again, it does get boring but it is too expensive to run sprinklers all day. No good producing flowers to sell at £! a bunch if the cost £1-50 to produce. I did take a lady who is be terminally ill some beans, she is quite brave walks up to do her shopping and always smiles, She was given 12 months 3 years ago, surprising what will power can do,and treatment of course. Take it easy if you can.

There are people everywhere that love their neighbors, just not quite enough of them. And, the ones who don't get in the news the most.

That's right. It's loving your neighbor. We need tos ee more of that in this world today. Sadly, it seems to have gone by the wayside in so many places.

We had rain, rain and more rain yesterday. Wish I could have packaged some and sent it back to you. They probably made that 'sweet' comment because most people are just not used to anyone helping out anymore, so are pleasantly surprised when help does happen.

Yeah, 'sweet.' At least they did say it was 'cute.'
I hope your muggy weather cools and dries soon. I hate that kind of atmosphere! But even with it, I daresay the atmosphere in your woodland realm is wonderful!

You're right - it's the human, neighborly thing to do. Not everyone
actually acts like a neighborly human, though - so it is a good thing that gets our attention. Hugs.
