Talking of Geese, A lady i know said when they were kids the mother spread goose fat over their chests and back and they were told not to take their vests off at all through Winter. Makes me shudder,but she was serious .

Yes Kabu, the trouble with turkeys they are so big, we usually have a section , I think .
Funny Chrismas seems far away and yet Summer has melted like ice cream. I know you were patriotic how times change.

we always had Turkey...cooking a turkey dinner in the middle of a heatwave but we were of Brisitsh stock don't you know. Rule Britania and all that. turkey and plum pudding !!
