Of course everyone wants a scape goat.
It will go on forever I expect.
Sadly I think problems will as well.
Saw the first homeless immigrant today.
Sitting on the pavement, I gave him a few coins.
Folk passed as if he was not there.
I felt a bit guilty afterwards thinking I should have given him
a bit extra.

It seems to be a recurring theme throughout the passage of time: the younger generation blaming the older generation for the current situation.

Well....when we do choose to look back, I'm just grateful to be able to see so many things in the past......

Kabu dear
We blamed "The Establishment" for the state of affairs in the world. Now they, our children and their children, or at least some of them, blame us. Perhaps it's a cycle. I, too, don't feel that my little vote, whichever way it went, and it went all over the place, changed the world.

What we don't see - when we're the generation blaming our folks for
the world we inherited - is that they, too got it handed to them whether they wanted it or not. I do remember there's always been some old fogeys complaining about "kids today" and what's kind of ironic to me is that I hear my adult kids saying this about the milennials. The more things change, the more they stay the same.
