How nice the man fixed the door for you guys. And what an interesting story about you ride hom turning into first husband. I love these glimpses into your life. Thank you, dear.

When we lived in the tropical summers of NY/NJ, it was humidity that made the doors swell up, and also made the salt solid in the shakers until Mom put rice in with the salt.

Well he fell for you literally . I suppose you were a demure looking chick.

Even our plastic door appears to be out of alignment, I think it must be the dryness some how. Can't shave bits off so have to swear and force it to shut.

It has been so humid here it is hard to shut our back foot.

We had to have hand tails on front step. The handy man came and got them done and said he’d be back to do gutters and siding. That was 4 weeks ago and we’re still waiting. He hasn’t cashed check for materials yet

That is a funny first time with Husband #1. Mechanical odds and ends often lead to funny moments.

Funny how things tie together in our stories. So many things that

don't seem to relate are interconnected through time and distance. I'm glad you found a good and honest handyman.  Makes life sweeter to come across someone like that now and then.
