I love your wren. My Dad had a wren friend. He built the little wren house and hung it in the willow tree. They communicated every morning. It was so sweet.

Birds are funny little critters, it takes a time for them to become able to trust . Perhaps your little bird knows it receives ltttle treats if it sings a little song to you. In a perfect world all the birds you feed would sit in a row and sing you a freindly tune. I cannot think why my email did not open, I will check back. Although really it is a miracle one minute here and bang its with you.Now I don't think the spell check is working.

Hi, Kabu... Love the idea of your little bird hovering around the
"nest." As I read about Wiley's appetite issues I thought of something they sell here in the lower 48 called "Boost." There's also one called Ensure. These are protein shakes in a can, something they call a meal replacement, "complete" nutrition. If Wiley doesn't want to eat, maybe he'd like a cold chocolate shake. Local stores also have fruit smoothies, some with veggies - kind of pricey, but full of kale & berries, etc. I mix up my own using a blender sometimes...
