Yes get power of attorney, it I what Wiley would have wanted. I am afraid it looks like you will have to do what I am sure Wiley would have done if the situation was reversed. It really is bad luck, and of course you will get prayers, hopefully they will help.

Hugs all around...!
It sounds like you yourself could benefit from an elder-program to help with finances, and not bear the whole burden yourself. Maybe your bank or some community services are available to assist?

It was so hard for me to do that for my mom and dad, but it was one of the best things I ever did to make life easier all around. It relieved them of a burden they didn't really want to be doing but didn't know how to stop. You definitely (and Wiley took) need lots of hugs at this time of your life, and I have lots to give. Tell Wiley I have a son just waiting to do that for me, and I'm so glad he is there.

A prayer and a big hug for you, and Wiley also. I do believe you are like me in that you'd prefer to not bother with finances so that in itself is stressful for you, I'm sure. And is Wiley okay with this decision. It's difficult but now that it's been made it should be better for him. Sending love and good wishes, and hope and a prayer, on wings of wonder.

Oh Kabu, I'm so sorry this is happening for you. Sounds like you're very good to Wiley. Should be a big relief for him you taking over finances. You'd think. Take care. Praying.
