I've always been fascinated by the outback as one of the last

truly wild places left on earth, even though I have to admit I'm no longer in shape for a walkabout.  You make the lemon pie sound like a worthwhile adventure... I believe I could manage the peaks on that pie...

Omigod! Does that not look fantastic? I've never seen a meringue topping shaped like that. Here they are all smooth and somewhat browned on top. I'll bet it was sooo good. Lucky you. It must have been as tasty as you say. Yum.
