No one likes to be cold called , the easy going ones probably tend to agree ,it it much easier that way. Good Luck though.

I'm always polite to the canvassers, it's hard to sell anything
door to door, especially a candidate. You never know what will happen - dogs, etc. Even if I don't support their guy/girl, I respect their dedication and that they're supporting the process.

It's not easy going door-to-door these days. Good for you. That's a lot of houses!

Nobody closed the door on us. One guy was creative. He answered with his cellphone. He gave us a motion for a minute, kept the front door open and the storm door closed. We waited for a few minutes before we figured he was not coming back.
