  I think we shall have to raise the age stakes, some are old at twenty-one and some are young at twenty seven.

Reading your poem reminds me that hindsight is 20/20. We often think about what we could have and should have done differently.

I always knew that one day I would end up in the old-age stage of life.  I knew it, but it did not seem real, not even yesterday when I ended up on the floor and could not get up.  I know it today but when I feel good on a sunny spring day, I will forget it again.
