Oh, sorry to hear this. But, it's good to get out while the getting's good. It would have been nice to see Royal go down, but keep us posted. Maybe a better opportunity will arise.

once again the big guys win and i am sorry that people will be losing jobs but dad cannot keep losing money or more people will be without jobs.

Probably best to cut losses before they overwhelm

Brick and mortar business can be tricky to navigate for best outcomes. My mother once owned several laundromats and went through similar issues. Nice if there was a crystal ball, lol.

I'm seeing how a small business owner has to be extremely versatile

and be willing to do every job in the business if it's going to succeed. My daughter once worked in a convenience store/gas station - a job that scared the puddin' out of me, because so many of them get robbed at gunpoint - especially those near main thoroughfares. I hope you find a buyer and they keep the current staff if they want to stay.

One has to move with the times scores of small outfits keep plodding on until it is hopeless. Well large ones too sometimes.
