What happened with the chips is a great metaphor for what happens in real life. It is very frustrating.

You'd have loved the presentation the university did for its employees
including faculty & office staff, to teach this very lesson about chips and social/business connections, race and class. Taught me that chip on my shoulder was not only necessary for survival, but downright righteous. Don't ever give up your soap box. It's part of your profile.

Well at least you did not lose too much, I suppose a lot of kids today get so much that it comes hard when that assistance is no longer there. Lifebuoy Soap came in wooden box but as you are untall probably a white washing soap box would raise your prestige.

Great post, great point, dear. If they have it all, it will be so much they won't care that no one has anything left. Such an interesting post. And frustrating for those who don't have all the chips.
