you never miss something till you don't have it. i read about a whole town in calif having to leave because of no water. closer to home than we think.

We have many drought issues here in California, whether real or not so real (depending on how one views from where our water supply is taken). Either way, water IS a big deal, or rather, lack thereof. And I didn't realize you experienced drought there!

Years ago a professor in a meteorology (weather) class told his
students that water would one day be more valuable than oil and severely rationed in some parts of the world. Your series seems to show that he was on target.

Well I suppose we may have to suck water from the sea or fix an engine to a massive stretch of ice and bring it to shore.

droughts are something that I lived with all my life in Australia. Climate change is ensuring that weather patterns around the world have changed. here's to rain and to snow.
