- Go to Wiley has been in Hospital again...and I need some help
kabu, the only advice i have is my brother in law was the same as your wiley, taking trip to the emergency room on a regular basis, he had afib also. so they inplanted next to his pace maker a defibulator in his chest and he is doing fine. he can tell when it jolts him but he just turned 80 and tries to stay active. i don't know if this is something you could ask for, but you could look into it.

I know you must be at the end of your rope, Kabu, and I agree with
Corbin's advice that you keep advocating STRONGLY for Wiley. Sad to report the situation is just as bad here in our area's pay for play emergency rooms. A year ago when I fell and went to the ER for xrays & diagnosis, I sat on a cot alone for 5 hours before I pulled up my jeans and took a hike. No diagnosis, one bandaid on a dinged elbow. I almost called a lawyer, but decided to save myself the aggravation. Hugs to you and Wiley John - I hope he gets treatment soon and you get some rest.

Kabu.....I am so sorry, your doing what is best done now...."Be The Squeeky Wheel".
This is a prevalent problem when dealing with "Universal Health Care" programs. You gotta become a Snapping Turtle...Take the bite and don't turn loose.
All of us will be praying for you......

My S.I.l could not not walk , legs swollen very painful , you know the symptoms she could not walk or sleep. She was taken to the hospitable last week in a wheel chair she was treated and had to be sent home three days running because there were no available beds.

Sadly it is the same here , there are not enough beds available .
Not enough resources. Girls do not seem eager to be nurses so a lot are foreign. You did your best , it is a tragedy.

Oh my! Horror of horrors! Go to the media, every outlet there! Contact local representatives to your equivalent of congress. Contact the hospital administrator. contact Wiley's social worker/nurse who came to the house. Don't stop because next time, it could be someone's life is lost - fast. It's almost at times that bad here. Really. Poor you and poor Wiley. My brother has A fib. So sorry this happened.
