yes, they look like a dragon, a seahorse dragon.  but they look enough like seagrass maybe to help them not get eaten by large fish.  a great post, i enjoyed this.

I imagine they are quite a sight to see in person...It is a shame that so many species are endangered.

Yes I can see the likeness. Don't look like that Kabu .I mean to the other ones. Isn't it remarkable that there are so many different species of everything. I always think it a bit strange that there are not more like me who came from eggs. Recognised by the hard nose and likes popcorn. No tail of course.

Wow! They look like a Disney creature, so delicate and intricate...

I'd never heard of these creatures, or don't remember if I did. I hope they continue to thrive in this world.
