I used to watch it Kabu, but I never watch soaps now, well I never watch tele. I am thinking of getting one just a small 32" as I like it watch the news, Arthur will probably give them a post-mortem before I get it..

Television is something that many of us take for granted these days, causing those whose lives it has been around to be impressed by those who did not have it. If I ever have grandchildren, they will probably look at the Internet the same way.

I watched the very first episodes of Days of our lives, when it was first shown in Australia. Hmnnn maybe i will make that my post today.

I believe it's been shown on the PBS network (Channel 9)
and I may have seen an episode. It's weird how some soaps keep going - I think "Days of Our Lives" has been on for more than 50 years - I know the writers have been recycling plots and characters for more than 20 years. I started watching it in 1994 after I'd retired the first time.

I didn't have TV until I married. I used to love watching it when I visited at the homes of my older sisters.

OMG, what a great soap that must be! We didn't have a tv until I was almost 9, S. Sister! I think I was the only one in the class who didn't have one. How fun to watch that soap. I remember my auntie would watch As the World Turns and Days of Our Lives every day. I watched one soap when my kids were small. If I had to miss an episode I could always ask my sis or cousins what had happened, no DVRs. They are addicting...
