Hello FSI
The car wash life must be difficult in freezing weather. It used to be -25 to -30 degrees when I was in Bloomington. Here in the North India we are experiencing bitter cold, especially so it being a desert state.x

It's hard to keep water from freezing in weather like we have had. Your Dad's statement made me remember a lesson from Chemistry. At 32F (0-C) water can be both a solid and liquid. It takes more energy to go from liquid at 32 to solid at 32 than it does to go from 31 to 10F. None of this is relavent to your post, but your opening statement made me think of it and who wants to waste a good thought? LOL Take care!

Be careful in that weather, stay warm, and I'm glad business is good.

Stay warm, and leave the faucets dripping... Not sure that will do any good, at the expected temps, but better than nothing or broken plumbins!

Thought of you yesterday when one of the news channels
showed a photo of a frozen car wash, with a curtain of icicles framing the exit - It's good to know that was not yours. Stay warm.
