Re: BigV
Thank you, BigV. Perhaps, and yes, so many stranger things...

Re: FSI
It was unusual, that's for sure. But not uncommon for my family...

Re: CCT
All true, CC. Twenty years is a lifetime in medicine. And that's a good thing.

Re: Pat, you are so right...
And yes, some might say that it was, indeed, a greeting.

Perhaps the orchid saved its beauty to honor your Father. Stranger things...
Nice entry.

It was of course a beautiful happening. We do try and find little things that alleviate our grief . I would of course felt the same as you did . Twenty years is a lifetime in medicine
but sadly we could not avail ourselves of that in the past.

There is much that happens in life that seems to be mysterious
and incomprehensible. Some might say the bloom was a goodbye greeting from your dad.

Re: Dearest Aba
Of course, but it does make for a good tale...and a true tale at that. There must have been just the proper conditions, but I have no idea what they were. It's not the tale I was going to tell tonight, but it came to mind. I was going to tell a cheery tale.

Dearest Presta sis,
Loved the story, though sad. The orchid blooming only once just after your dad's passing away is indeed mysterious. But there must have been some reason, the timing and correlation of it all. So many things happen in life that keeps us perpetually wondering.
