Wow! Some people can't understand why rents are so high. I'm pretty sure right now, you could answer that question. I'm glad it was 'property damage' only.

Your dad has every right to expect responsibility from his renters.
Lucky that nobody was injured, as things can be repaired but it's not always possible to repair a person as good as new....
