There used to be lots of really heartwarming shows like that...I remember in Australia we had Tommy Hanlon who was an American and his show was called "It could be you." Quite often he reunited family members...bringing people from somewhere overseas. Always a tear jerker but nice.

I was unaware of that show. The concept sounds interesting...That was a lot for that wing of the family to go through.

Well that was something to remember although your poor aunt had lost a lot to make it possible.

I remember that show quite well from its television days as my mother was a huge fan.
Childhood memories, good and bad, follow us forever. I can't write with anyone behind me due to such a memory and I've set my writing desk up so no one can maneuver behind me. It's silly now, but I can't work with someone reading over my shoulder.

Before it was on TV, I used to listen to Queen for a Day on radiio,
and think how wonderful our lives would be if only..... Of course that would have been a temporary change as the days and months rolled on. I get it, that you have a thing about welcome home banners. Some lives are just so much harder than they need to be. I hope it's going a bit better now.
