I see a lot of neighbor feuds on the Judge Judy type court TV shows,
and am thankful that the only problems I've had with neighbors has been about their barking dogs or that they don't rake their leaves and let them blow over into my yard. When we were kids (9 or 10 years old) we used to have running fights with certain kids from the neighborhood, but we were careful not to get moms or dads involved. Lucky you if this kook is no longer living next door.

Uh, oh, my mistake in typo. That should have been don't you think so? Actually I once dealt with a crazy person as crazy, and surprisingly he understood and thought I was the only sane person he met. He started coming to our house at odd hours trying to become friendly. It was only with great difficulty again, that I was able to get rid of him. He underwent treatment at the mental hospital for maybe six or seven years.

I think I would have just let him take the snails as long as he killed them humanely.
A quick tap with a hammer preferably. It is difficult when one lives next door to such a person.
