That kind of sweetness is the best: no calories, no cavities, no guilt.
I've begun to think there's no gift better than a good day shared.

Well Arthur keeps telling me to wrap up as older folk cannot feel the cold. Of course you guys are really tough, living next to bears. In the olden days it used to be dangerous to go to the outside loo. A bear would sit outside waiting patiently. Well that's what one of my old pioneer relatives told me.

The day-temp is 20 degrees and nights are around 5 degrees C. Quite cold and windy by our desert standards. I have a friend in the army who is just like Wiley's friends. Talks non-stop without a stop button. He too wears me out no end. These days he is into numismatics and is teaching me the worth of old coins I'm not at all interested in. No reading or writing these days as I'm too busy with works assigned to me by the Univ.

A lot of talking wears me out--mine, theirs, ours, all at the same time, on the TV. Silence is golden, especially after a lot of talking.

Glad to hear you two have a Christmas cake, dear. It is tiring to get ready for company. Will try to catch up to everyone else at a later time, S. Sister.
