The gypsies used to wrap a bit of rag with sugar as a sucker. Once I saw a gypsy she was sitting on the sill outside the fish and chip shop(as it was called) she was eating out of the usual newspaper wrapping and feeding a baby with a big girlie.

Good for you and your friend for finding each other. I see a lot of
women of our generation - especially those whose partners need a lot of care - who bloom and glow after a time with friends at The Center. I'm kind of a loner, but the last few years as a volunteer has been a geme changer in the contentment dept.

Sounds like it is so good for you to do the things like getting your nails done, and visiting a new friend. Cookies and kids always go well together, even if it's the adults enjoying the cookies. Love the picture.
