I had no idea that's what you called it there! My daughter went there and I didn't hear Word One about that. Yuck, I don't do well with bugs...

Re: Pat
Thank you, Pat, very much. I liked my new room, and we adjusted to the school and environment as best we could.

Yep, you are right, it could have been worse; I could have eaten the thing, I suppose... Yes, my brother was so typical of a little brother.

That's why I don't like mince. Your brother was a typical brother trying to take the Mick.
I suppose it could have been worse, but too a young lady no way.

Re: Aba bro, I Googled it...
Grasshoppers and ants, of which I knew, silkworms, cicadas, bees, crickets - shall I continue? I even saw stink bugs and water beetles! OMG, no thank you. Yes, by all means, ask him. I prefer bugless food. Lol.

Big sis,
It just occurred to me that when I was in Bangkok two years ago, there is a night market called Khao San where they sell fried insects, and it is said that it's a delicacy for foreigners who have never tasted it. GM was there for 33 years and his wife is from Thailand. Perhaps we could ask him

Re: Re: Fried bugs? Yep!
i really don't know. It could be that the poison is somehow taken out or maybe, they are so poisonous themselves that a small insect's poison would do them no harm, ha ha

Re: Fried bugs? Yep!
It was beyond disgusting. These are bugs of filth. They close down restaurants that have infestations such as this. It would be my luck to get one in my food! Yuck! Fried scorpions are poison, no? Who the heck would want to eat them? Grasshoppers, maybe... LOL! OMG, awful.

Fried bugs? Sis ....
That could be quite dangerous had the bug been froed and stayed with the others and not at the bottom, uh! I once dined in a China restaurant and they asked if I would like some fried scorpions. The very thought made me sick.
