We got about five inches of snow last night and the dogs loved it. The roads here are very slippery and I didn't even think about going out. Not from a lack of skills on my part, but the part of the 'other guy.'
I hope you folks can stay warm and stay safe.

My love of snow is renown 
, but driving in it isn't easy. Especially if someone nervous is sitting beside you. Hats off to both of you for making it home without one or the other getting buried in a snowbank

I am not looking forward to snow and ice, not at all.
Last year I brought the snow shovel in from the garage to the front porch, so I'd be ready, and it acted like a charm - kept the snow away. If I'd left it in the garage no doubt we'd have had a foot of the stuff to wade through to get the shovel. Brrrr...

Do be careful your little car is not a snow goose. I can imagine a driver can always see faults in someone else when not in front of the wheel.
